Voles of Vashon-Maury Island
Vole specimens are needed for DNA research.
If you find a dead Vole, put it a sturdy bag and freeze as quickly as possible, with place and date.
Then contact Bianca Perla (bianca.vcn@gmail.com 755-5798 or Ellen Kritzman (567-4837) or Gary Shugart (463-2169 gshugart@pugetsound.edu). Gary says specimens can also be put in the blue cooler on his porch at 10925 SW Bank Rd., but let him know something is there.
